Welcome
Clamshell Quilt Guild was organized in 1989 to bring together people interested in:
- Preserving the art of quilting
- Learning new methods of quilting
- Sharing expertise among the members
- Meeting and making friends with other quilters
Our members come from eastern Connecticut and southern Rhode Island. Doors open at 5:30 PM and there is a social hour until the meeting begins at 6:30. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the Waterford Community Center, 24 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford, CT.

First Monday open sewing at the East Lyme Senior Center is rescheduled from September 6 (Labor Day) to September 13, 1 - 5pm.
The September monthly meeting will be held September 8 at the Waterford Community Center; doors open at 5:30pm and there is a social hour until the meeting starts at 6:30. The winner of the 2010 Raffle Quilt will be drawn. September marks the completion of the Guild year so there will be a 20th birthday celebration and one lucky member will win the Birthday Quilt. Clamshell members are welcome to come to open sewing on the first Monday afternoon of the month at the East Lyme Senior Center from 1pm - 5pm, and on the last Tuesday afternoon of the month at the East Lyme Senior Center from 5pm - 10pm.
